Comment by BG on April 21, 2008 at 11:43pm: Jim Beam is in the midst of developing a "Vote for Robby" campaign to generate fan support in order to elect Robby into the 2008 Sprint Cup All Star Race on May 17th at Lowe Motor Speedway. Our agencies are in the process of finalizing programming plans that will include online web banners to be placed on NASCAR.com and Jayski, as well as Jim Beam.com, Lowes Motor Speedway.com and of course Robby's Uprising. Official votes can be placed on NASCAR.com beginning on April 27th and ending on May 17th. Be on the lookout for the Beam banners and activation in local race markets leading up to the All Star event at LMS next month. Buy some Beam, cast your vote and pour a tall, cool one! Try some Beam Black and ginger when you get the opportunity. We certainly always do!
